Vice President for State Affairs, Mid-Atlantic Region

Eric Goldberg serves as vice president for state affairs, Mid-Atlantic region for the American Insurance Association. This includes Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Virginia, and West Virginia. 

A frequent speaker on property-casualty insurance issues, Mr. Goldberg regularly testifies before legislative bodies and regulatory agencies, and has appeared on a variety of national media outlets.

Before joining AIA, Mr. Goldberg served on the legal staff of the United States Senate Judiciary Committee and on its Subcommittee on the Courts and Intellectual Property. He also worked as a judicial law clerk with the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Mr. Goldberg is a graduate of the George Washington University and the Washington University School of Law. He is an active member of the Pennsylvania and District of Columbia bars.
