PHILADELPHIA, PA – AF Group President Lisa Corless and the American Insurance Association (AIA) hosted an event this weekend recognizing women in leadership roles throughout the insurance industry.

The “Women in Insurance” reception took place on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, in Philadelphia, ahead of this summer’s National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) meeting. It included female regulators, CEOs, and other insurance executives from across the country for a night of women celebrating women.

“Women have made incredible gains in the insurance industry in the past few years, and we wanted to acknowledge and applaud their contributions,” said Corless. “Many thanks to all the commissioners and insurance executives who participated to honor the achievements of women in the industry.”

“We’re tremendously grateful for everything Lisa and AF Group did to make this event a success,” said Maggie Seidel, vice president of public affairs at AIA. “As the number of women leaders in the insurance industry continues to grow, we’re proud to continue celebrating all their accomplishments.”
