October 5, 2017 - The American Insurance Association opposes the bills, with Ron Jackson, vice president, state affairs in AIA’s Southeast region, saying they are unnecessary. Florida law, Jackson said, already prohibits insurers from using credit scoring and ZIP code information that is unfairly discriminatory.
